For the second year in a row, we’re honored to be named alongside many of the most dynamic and inspiring organizations across the United States–including our customers such as LinkedIn and T-Mobile–who are redefining what it means to be a best place to work in 2020.
The winners of Comparably’s annual awards for 2020 received the highest ratings by employees who provided anonymous feedback on a variety of workplace culture questions, ranging from work environment, compensation, diversity, inclusion, leadership, and more. This specific round of awards showcase the leaders who are helping to drive positive culture change across companies large and small.

Navigating and embracing the new challenges of 2020
2020 is far from a traditional year, and we are grateful for our world-class team that continues to show up to work at Scoop each day (albeit virtually!) with a spirit of collaboration and teamwork. Even with 2020’s entirely unexpected change of course, our team members and leadership team continue to create and strengthen our culture, even though we are not together in person.
We are proud of our team members and leadership team who create meaningful work and bring our collective mission—to bring safe, reliable, and convenient commutes to all—to life. At Scoop, we’re dedicated to providing a space that uplifts our employees and guarantees that all of our voices are heard in service of personal development and working towards our collective mission. Even though the commute as we used to know it may be on pause, our team is continuing to work hard to prepare our customers and community for a safe and successful return to the workplace when the time is right.

From taking a bet on ourselves and the team, to being open, honest, and direct in everything we do, and giving a good push–our core values are at the heart of our culture and community. They empower the team to work better together, and recognize when they themselves can iterate and improve.
Every single step we take is oriented towards the people who bring Scoop to life for our customers and commuters. This has ultimately built a culture that is a summation of our values and the mission we deeply believe in.
Our team’s diversity drives our success
Since the day Scoop was founded, we as a company have promised to do everything we can to create a culture where people are empowered to do their best work while bringing their full, authentic selves to the office.
We recognize that building and nurturing a diverse and inclusive team is a commitment that has no end date. We are proud of the work the members of our cross-functional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force dedicate in service of these efforts, from building a more diverse recruiting pipeline, to implementing workshops on accessibility and mental health, to raising awareness of the communities disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
At the same time, we believe that DEI shouldn’t be the responsibility of one function, and that it is the responsibility of all employees to build a culture of inclusion. We realize that commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment is never-ending, and we have a lot of work to do in creating a diverse workforce with greater top-down support from our leadership team so we can continue fostering a platform for all voices. For us, earning recognition in this arena two years in a row is both a reminder of the fantastic people that make up our team and an ongoing promise to keep building a supportive and inclusive culture for everyone.
