Today is a huge milestone in the fight against traffic. This morning, we announced a $5.1 million funding round with support from Signia, Index, Workday, and BMW. Check out the TechCrunch article to learn more!

This round of funding marks the next step in Scoop’s evolution.

It’s easy to focus on the result and forget about the journey that got us to this day. The real story here is that the Scoop Community is genuinely at a tipping point, with thousands of commuters using us every week to upgrade their commute. Investments like today’s help us bring Scoop to even more cities, more employers, and more commuters. The impact of easy, custom carpooling is only going to get bigger over the next few months. And that’s the real impact that we’ll see on commuters, in our parking lots, and in our air.

My brother and I want to sincerely thank everyone who downloaded Scoop and gave us a try over the past nine months. Forward-thinking commuters who got in a car and used Scoop to get from life, to work, and back again. We can’t wait to write the next chapter of the Scoop story with the entire community.
